"WHERE MOVEMENT AND FORM COME TOGETHER TO FORM THE UNIQUE"
The Practice Room
We have a large multi-purpose room at Twisted Fe Studios that we call the “Practice Room”. It has a stage, theater projector, PA system, and good ventilation. Our Flow Club practices here, 3 different bands use the space to practice, and we have a professionally certified firearms group that uses the Practice Room 2 times a month. You must sign up to become a Twisted Fe Player to rent time in our studio space.
THE STUDIO
Our Art room is equipped with gas connections for torch work, it has a small kiln for small glass and metal projects. There is a casting machine for lost wax casting and a polisher for small jewelry and lapidary work. Bench time can be arranged or for a more serious minded artist, a Room can be rented.
T F S Clubs
There are several different clubs that have emerged during the early years at Twisted Fe Studios. In 2016 and 2017 our Table Tennis club met 2 times a week. Now it is on a break while the music bands are using the Practice Room to make their videos on the green screen set up. The Flow Club will resume in the Fall.
THE ONLINE STORE
We have an online shop that you can browse for finding that very “unusual” gift. We have sterling and plated silver pieces, art and crystals from Brazil, special clay pots from Mexico, and of coarse the very unique gifts of the different mediums in Art by our TFS Artists Guild. We go public 9-01-18
Our main goal at Twisted Fe Studios is to be the place where artists come to share workspace, tools, ideas, and especially their support of each other. Work is on display in our onsite gallery. Specializing in glass bead making, glass fusion, and lost wax casting we are able to provide bench space and / or classes to students wishing to advance their skills in these areas. We also have instructors and performers who love to exhibit and share their knowlege in the "Flow Arts". There are seminars and free flow nights that you can become involved with. And then there is The Twisted Fe Table Tennis Club. This is also open to the community at all levels of play and is an excellent way to burn some energy while socializing with local good friends.
You can take private lessons from our in house glass artists as well as rent bench space for your projects.
You can take private lessons in jewelry casting or rent time on the caster and kiln.
Join our nonprofit "flow" artists' troupe as we develop shows for the community and our favorite charities.
Come learn the basics to ping pong or challenge our committed club members.
